C.1885, French, Mysterious Timepiece, the clock suspended from two parallel chains, mov't with a form of Brocot escapement, moves from side to side with no apparent impulse.
Condition: there are supposed to be two small thumb screws to attach the chains to the suspension springs, and those are lacking, pins in use. Someon...
