C.1895, French, Commemorative of EUGENE SANDOR, famous weight lifter who performed at the World Columbian Exposition in 1893, gilt bronze on a marble base, small 8-day platform style timepiece in left ball.
Condition: much of the gilding has worn off Sandor's body from lifting the clock to wind. Aneroid barometer seems OK. Porcelain dials are good, note c...
